Hands On - Sing Out Choir

Sing Out Choir was launched by The Citadel in association with St. Helens Council in 2008.  Since then choir has gone from strength to strength, with community performances throughout the year, including the Dream launch and St. Helens Festival.

The choir is lead by the dedicated Gareth Owen and as a community choir is open to people of all ages and abilities.

New members are welcomed throughout the year.

No experience is necessary; just bring your enthusiasm and a willing set of lungs!

The choir meets every other Wednesday evening at The Citadel between 6:30 – 8:30pm. The subscription is £5.50 per week or £3 concession.

The choir rehearses and performs a wide range of songs from the classic “Imagine” by John Lennon, through to “Handbags and Gladrags”by Rod Stewart  and “Make you feel my love” by Bob Dylan/Adele.

The group is very friendly, enjoys a good laugh as well as a heart-felt sing and is always looking for new members to join in.
