Sing Out Choir

Citi-Dis-Arts enables disabled, vulnerable and elderly people from all wards of the borough to participate in weekly arts workshops to build confidence, self esteem and develop skills to enable them to fully engage in the communities in which they live.

Sing Out Choir – Wednesdays 6.30pm – 8.30pm

Sessions take place at Millennium Centre, Corporation Street, St Helens, WA10 1HJ and the cost of joining is just £44 per term or £24 if entitled to benefits.

Our Sing Out Choir was formed in 2008 and has since gone from strength to strength. Led by an experienced choir master this community choir is open to people over the age of 16 and of all abilities.

The choir rehearse weekly and take part in several community performances throughout the year performing a wide range of songs from old time classics to contemporary hits.

We are always on the lookout for singers and we welcome new members throughout the year. No audition is required, just a willing set of lungs and love of singing.

The choir rehearses and performs a wide range of songs from the classic “Imagine” by John Lennon, through to “Handbags and Gladrags” by Rod Stewart and “Make you feel my love” by Bob Dylan/Adele.

The choir is a very friendly bunch, so if you fancy a sing, a good laugh and meeting some new friends, why not come along?
