As the 2008 European Capital of Culture celebrations continue so does The Citadel's 20th birthday year. Since 1988 The Citadel has developed from an arts centre serving its local communities into an arts venue attracting regional, national and international visitors.

Hands On @ The Citadel has been the very backbone of Youth Arts in St. Helens for over 15 years and it continues to go from strength-to-strength.
Wednesday Art Group Wednesday 5pm - 7pm Running every Wednesday evening during term-time, the Wednesday Art Group brings together 7-11 year olds to take part in a variety of 'hands on' arts-based activities.

The Citadel Box Office is closed on Sunday, but open Monday - Saturday 12pm -6pm , and from doors until 10pm during performances.
