Would you like to play your part in the development of The Citadel and the services we can offer?
Individual donations are essential to arts venues such as us.
You can support us by making a single or regular contribution. Your generosity will support our principle aim which is to create a strong cultural and artistic base in St Helens.
You choose the level of support you would like to offer, and if you allow us to claim the Gift Aid on your donation your support will be even more valuable to us.
Simply contact us for a Donation Form, fill it in and return it to us. We will do the rest.
Gift Aid is a scheme that allows The Citadel as a charity to claim additional tax relief on your donation at no extra cost to you. Gift Aid increases your generous donation by 28p for every pound that you give if you are a UK taxpayer. Imagine what a difference that could make and it doesn't cost you a thing.
To qualify for Gift Aid (currently 28p for every £1 that you give), what you pay in income tax or capital gains tax must at least equal the amount the charity will claim in the tax year. Please do not forget to inform us of any changes in your tax status.
If you are unsure whether your donations qualify for Gift Aid tax relief please ask the charity or refer to help sheet IR65 on the HM Revenues and Customs website.
