The St Helens Youth Theatre needs your votes to bag a share of Tesco’s community fund

We are absolutely delighted to announce that the St Helens Youth Theatre have been shortlisted to receive a massive cash boost from the Tesco Bags for Help Initiative.

Tesco teamed up with Groundwork to launch its community funding scheme, which sees grants of £4,000, £2,000 and £1,000 awarded to local community projects.

We are one of three groups in this region who have been shortlisted to receive the cash award and shoppers are being invited to head along to Tesco stores to vote for who they think should take away the top grant.

The voting is open at the St Helens Tesco Extra and the Windle St Helens Tesco Express stores and runs from the 1st May up to 30th June with customers casting their vote using a token given to them at the check-out each time they shop.

We would like to ask all of our amazing audience members to please cast your votes in store during this period.  Receiving this award would be a huge boost to the important work we do with children and young people.   The St Helens Youth Theatre is a fantastic place for young people to come and meet new friends, build confidence, develop social skills and gain experience in stage craft, characterisation and performing on stage.  To join, or for more information please give us a call on 01744 762 300.
