Citadel Arts are bringing some of the best children’s and family shows from across the UK to Church Street, St Helens for a completely free outdoor theatre experience that you’ll never forget.

Half a String Presents:

The Lost Colour 

For ages 5+

Shows at 10am, 11.30am & 3pm

Join Malcolm Brushell, professional painter and amateur alchemist, on his quest to find the pinky-est pink paint on the planet! Through cracking rocks, mashing every conceivable vegetable, and even bottling and fermenting his own cow’s wee, he has created every colour imaginable…except for that rascally illusive pink, but he won’t give up! A colourful explosion of puppetry, music and comedy, join the race to create the most pigmented pink paint ever patented!

John Hinton Presents:

‘Now That’s What I Call A Lot Of Songs About Science’

Join the hapless but noble knight Don Quixote and his long suffering, fortune seeking side-kick Sancha Panza on their epic quest to revive chivalry, confront monsters and seek to right what is wrong or accidentally wrong what is right!

There Be Monsters! is the outdoor heroic romp-around from acclaimed outdoor performers The Fabularium. As you meet these two iconic characters, you are invited on an adventure to 5 walkable locations to witness each scene in a different setting! This is a journey like no other, with live original music and catchy songs that will deliver a fun yet thought provoking, site specific, promenade piece.
